Save Khaki United (S.K.U.), a lifestyle brand of contemporary American sportswear emphasizing comfort & fit. S.K.U. products are everyday essentials: nothing is added without purpose. The result is an aesthetic that is minimalist at heart. Carefully selected fabrics are washed & dyed for broken-in comfort. Understated & easily worn.

All of our products are manufactured in the United States. We value American workmanship, ingenuity and tenacity. Sustainability, fair labor and efficiency is at the core of our endeavors.
All products under the SKU label are sewn in the USA. When available we source domestic textiles, yarns, trims, and packaging. Due to limited supply constraints, we have to import fabrics and trims in certain styles. In these cases, we do our best to ensure this information is transparent on our main label, which reads "Made in USA of imported fabric or imported yarns".
Manufacturing locally is a kinder production method for the environment by reducing the impact of our supply chain’s carbon footprint. Staying local also affords us the opportunity to have face-to-face interactions with the companies and workers that we collaborate.
A majority of our knits are made from fibers grown using sustainable farming practices, and we often include organic, recycled, or reclaimed cotton to reduce the environmental impact in the production cycle.
California has the most progressive environmental protection rules imposed on the industry for dyeing. By dyeing and finishing all of our garments in California, you are assured our processing is more environmentally friendly. However, we know we have much work to do in this area, so we are always exploring more sustainable dye chemical and innovative dye technology.

The word Supima comes from Pima (derived from the indigenous American tribe) and superior. Less than one percent of the cotton annually produced in the world qualifies as Supima. It’s exclusively grown in the southwestern United States. The extra-long fiber length makes Supima incredibly soft. The long, dense fibers of Supima absorb and retain dye better than most other cotton ensuring vibrant, long lasting color. Super-durable and stronger than traditional cotton, Supima is less likely to pill or shrink.

SKU has three retail stores in the U.S. The shops feature carefully selected items for daily life that are simple, subtly designed & purposeful. Three are located in NYC – in NoHo and West Village. Our newest retail endeavor is located in the West 3rd Street shopping district in Los Angeles.
